Medical Assistant with x-ray License

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant with x-ray License to join our team at CareNow urgent care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various clinical duties in support of providers and Nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
- Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as directed, and prepare, maintain, and clean exam rooms.
- Check patients in and out of the computer and assist the Patient Representative with front desk duties.
- Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
- Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled, and work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- High School graduate as required by the state.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
- Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
