Responsibilities:

Below, we outline the key responsibilities of this role, with the complete job description discussed in detail during our interviewing process.

  • Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws, and giving injections.
  • Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, and taking necessary action.
  • Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment, and ensure accurate completion of patient charts.
  • Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company, including teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.

Additional Requirements for Centers of Excellence:

Completes all required preceptor training to effectively onboard and train new hires in centers of excellence, engages with Learning and Development to manage onboarding and training of new employees, and meets new employees on their first day to facilitate welcome and introductions.

Experience Requirements and Preferences:

At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent License Requirements: No License Required
