Job Overview

VadaTech is a leading provider in the field of embedded computing solutions. We are actively looking for skilled individuals to fill the role of AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) Technician. This position entails the operation of AOI and X-ray/SMT machinery while meticulously gathering and documenting operational data.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Operating the AOI machine, including the configuration of inspection profiles
  • Utilizing X-ray equipment
  • Managing selective soldering machinery
  • Overseeing aqueous washing and stencil cleaning processes

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in operating SMT equipment, including AOI, X-ray, selective solder, aqueous washer, and stencil cleaner.
  • Familiarity with various electronic component types and packaging (e.g., BGA, SOIC, RES/CAP packages)
  • Ability to interpret and understand engineering assembly documents such as BOMs, assembly drawings, engineering change orders, and quality process documentation
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Computer literacy and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
