About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality MRI images for the diagnosis of medical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed.
  • Prepare and operate the MR scanner and x-ray equipment to capture accurate images.
  • Evaluate MR scans and X-Ray images for technical quality and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Utilize EPIC Radiant and PACS to schedule and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Start IV lines and pre-screen outpatients prior to contrast exams.
  • Administer contrast material using the power injector and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Collaborate with peers to achieve team goals and provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Accredited educational program in radiology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Associate's degree in applied science in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • NJ State Radiology License and current ARRT accredited MR license.
  • Current BLS certification and 2+ years of MR experience.
