Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant with X-Ray License to join our team at CareNow. As a key member of our urgent care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and nurses in delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various clinical duties, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs, as well as applying splints, dressings, and bandages as directed.
  • Check patients in and out of the computer and assist with front desk duties, including greeting patients, checking patients in/out of the computer, and performing End of Day close-out procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  • Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled and work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High School graduate as required by the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
  • Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
