Kellogg Community Credit Union is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the role of Chief Information Officer.

As the Chief Information Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the technology framework and information system assets of the credit union. Your focus will be on formulating both immediate and long-range technology strategies to ensure the provision of effective, economical, and innovative technological solutions for the organization. You will lead the IT and business intelligence divisions to deliver valuable information and resources to the KCCU team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all facets of the credit union's technology infrastructure and information systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to establish both short-term and long-term technology objectives, providing the necessary leadership to drive revenue growth and fulfill organizational goals through technology.
  • Guide the strategic planning and execution of efficient and secure systems that are cost-effective and meet member service and decision-making needs.
  • Assess project feasibility based on management's requirements, priorities, and budget constraints.
  • Investigate industry technology trends to ensure that the credit union's IT structure and equipment adequately address member needs and align with the strategic plan.
  • Support the mission of the credit union by ensuring high-quality member services, fostering team development, and continuously enhancing internal systems and processes.
  • Oversee the implementation and functioning of information technology systems, ensuring all necessary equipment is operational.
  • Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures related to information technology, providing guidance on relevant concerns.
  • Establish and maintain professional and courteous relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten to fifteen years of relevant experience.
  • A bachelor's degree with professional certification, or a master's degree.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and influence teams.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on risk assessment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, proficient computer skills, and excellent time management abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with others regularly and build lasting relationships.
