Sales Director, Business Growth, GTS

Gartner is seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and lead a team of quota-bearing associates. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve business results tied to our overall sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve or overachieve financial targets by driving high activity and conducting team prospecting sessions with direct reports.
- Develop and execute strategies for achievement of business results, including attracting and retaining top talent within the sales team.
- Provide leadership through effective communication of the global strategy and coach and develop direct reports on a regular basis.
- Improve the team's success through effective leadership and mentorship, and take ownership for own professional growth and support the team's professional growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7-15 years shown consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software or hardware), with 3+ years of management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate sales associates, with strong business acumen, forecasting skills, influencing skills and interpersonal skills.
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen, and handling others.

Compensation and Benefits:
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $152,500 USD - $202,500 USD. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
