Sales Director, Revenue Growth Expert

StackAdapt Inc. is a self-serve advertising platform that specializes in multi-channel solutions including native, display, video, connected TV, audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home ads.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in the San Francisco/Bay Area. This role combines sales activities with team management and requires a strong understanding of the programmatic media landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Hire, train, and mentor a team of Account Executives to sell into the West-Coast market
- Manage and lead a team of 4-8 Account Executives (AEs)
- Conduct weekly meetings with AEs to upskill, coach, and mentor as needed
- Pitch potential clients on StackAdapt, alongside AE team both in-person and virtually
- Leverage several sales enablement and operations tools to uncover actionable insights that improve team performance
- Travel with Account Executives to support them in growing their existing business and closing new business from agencies and brands
- 3-5 years experience as an AE at a similar organization followed by 3+ years of experience as a sales manager
- Excellent understanding of programmatic media strategies, agency/brand's media buying process, and the competitive landscape within the digital advertising ecosystem
- Proven experience in leading and executing change management initiatives
- Successful track record selling into agencies and brands as an individual contributor at a DSP (or other ad platform)
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams
- Strong client relation skills
- Proven cross-functional track record
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, plus commission structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401K matching, and three weeks vacation time.
