Job Overview

We are in search of a proficient Senior Operations Leader to manage and enhance our operational framework at RK Logistics Group Inc. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organizational objectives are met effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Exhibiting exceptional leadership and management capabilities to motivate and guide teams towards achieving operational goals.
  • Collaborating with site managers and supervisors to define operational requirements.
  • Introducing innovative strategies and initiatives aimed at surpassing customer expectations.
  • Applying LEAN methodologies, quality management practices, and cost control techniques.
  • Overseeing performance management while providing training and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and addressing employee relations matters.
  • Supervising staff in alignment with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Leading cross-functional teams during start-up activities.
  • Engaging with both internal and external clients on a daily basis.
  • Coordinating personnel schedules to support various shifts and accounts.
  • Documenting departmental processes for consistency and clarity.
  • Providing stakeholders with insights on quality, safety, delivery, cost, and employee morale.
  • Establishing production schedules that adhere to strict timelines and budget constraints.
  • Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4-6 years of leadership experience in operations management.
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and logistics.
  • Outstanding leadership and management skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to create and execute operational strategies.
  • An analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proven history of spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to excel in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry practices.
  • A willingness to travel between sites as necessary.
