Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Risk Analytics team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance risk analytics software using Java and Scala.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance risk analytics software using Java and Scala
  • Work with Linux applications and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Develop distributed computing applications on Linux platforms
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers and product managers to develop multi-tier, multi-layered application layer frameworks
  • Research new technologies and techniques to support leading-edge development
Requirements
  • Expertise in Java
  • Master of Science in Computer Science or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with 5 or more years' experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience
  • Desirable experience in Scala, C++, and Windows environments
  • Experience in performance measurement, bottleneck analysis, and resource usage monitoring
  • Significant experience in multi-threading and memory management
  • Familiarity with probabilistic and stochastic computational techniques
  • Experience with data access and computing in highly distributed cloud systems
  • Experience in agile development
