Job Description

Mitsui Chemicals America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing plans that drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product adoption and usage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, chemistry, or polymer science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing positions in the packaging, polymer, plastic, coatings, or chemical industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Experience working in a global team and matrix organization is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
