Job Title: Reginal Sales Executive

Blake Smith Staffing, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Reginal Sales Executive to join our team. As a Reginal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for assisting company growth by identifying project requirements and providing specification data and technical support to the design community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with specifying community (engineers, architects, energy consulting firms, and mechanical contractors) to provide necessary technical data for mechanical schedules, building plans, and performance specifications.
  • Provide unit selections based on operating conditions and establish open communication with project specifiers to become a preferred equipment provider during the design phase.
  • Assist management and engineering teams during new product development and design phase, analyze and evaluate products for performance and maintenance improvements, and make recommendations based on current market feedback and industry standards.
  • Support design build engineers and mechanical contractors in multiple markets, develop representative staff by providing technical information and training, and train manufacturer rep staff in preparing equipment takeoffs and quotes based on technical requirements and selections.
  • Analyze and keep current existing technical documentation and support material, work with the marketing department to create O&M manuals, technical guides, and residual support materials, and provide website data support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Dynamics a plus).
  • Knowledge and background in HVAC systems, operations, and functions.
  • Familiarity with construction and building applications, HVAC equipment selection software knowledge, and AutoCad and Solidworks experience are a plus.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, controls, industrial wire, or selling to distribution channels. The territory is from DC to Boston, and the candidate will be on the road most of the time after a 3-6-month training period in Westchester County, NY. Travel and entertainment expenses will be covered by the employer, and an aggressive commission structure and great base salary are offered.
