About the Role

Solventum is seeking a skilled Bioprocessing Account Representative to join our team in Southern California. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing territory sales goals and utilizing appropriate tactics to meet and exceed sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing territory sales goals and utilizing appropriate tactics to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Working with Marketing and Application Engineering to understand new customer and business development opportunities.
  • Establishing and building relationships with key personnel at multiple levels in the buying process to attain territory sales goals.
  • Proactively presenting new application opportunities to end-users.
  • Generating leads for new business through interactions with end-users.

What You'll Achieve

  • Providing materials to simplify the manufacturing of life-changing therapeutics.
  • Helping customers quickly get new therapeutics to market.
  • Providing lower-cost alternatives to protein manufacturers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND three (3) years of Biopharmaceutical sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED from AND seven (7) years of Biopharmaceutical sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Current, valid Driver's License.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Experience selling process equipment in a scientific environment.
  • Experience in a private, public, government or military environment designing protein manufacturing processes.
  • Manufacturing experience in a protein therapeutic company.
  • Proven track record of sales growth.

Work Environment

This role requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
