Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to achieve annual revenue goals
  • Manage and execute fundraising activities, including individual giving, institutional funding, and event fundraising
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement a communications plan to support development goals
  • Manage and improve development operations, including CRM management, budget monitoring, and gift processing
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of nonprofit development experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Demonstrable experience as a fundraising generalist, with hands-on practice at institutional giving/grant writing, major gifts, annual giving, corporate partnership building, special events, and online giving campaigns
  • Experience managing and improving development operations, ranging from CRM management to budget monitoring to gift processing
  • Proactive in recognizing needs and opportunities and taking initiative to work toward solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with professionals at varying levels, and liaising with contractors and consultants
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a knack for working backwards from deadlines and dealing with curve balls
  • Keen attention to detail, with a love of adhering to organizational systems and producing high-quality work-products
  • Reliable and friendly communicator, with persistence in reaching out and following up with professionals
