ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter to become a vital part of our Houston, TX team. Key Responsibilities:

Payroll and Benefits Management:

  • Oversee and execute payroll processing utilizing ADP software.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, encompassing health insurance, retirement plans, and additional benefits.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

Recruitment Activities:

  • Conduct comprehensive recruitment processes for both technical and non-technical roles.
  • Formulate and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber candidates.
  • Screen, interview, and recommend suitable candidates for employment.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing requirements and job specifications.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, managing documentation, taxes, and benefits packages.

Compliance and Policy Enforcement:

  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about updates in employment standards and regulations.

Legal Compliance:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal standards to mitigate risks associated with employee management.
  • Assist with immigration processes and ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Analyze employee trends to identify strategies for enhancing engagement and retention.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns and provide support regarding HR-related matters.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Conduct investigations as necessary and resolve conflicts effectively.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a human resources capacity, emphasizing payroll and benefits management.
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll software is advantageous.
  • Experience in full-cycle technical recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
