PRIMARY PURPOSE: To deliver comprehensive administrative assistance, which includes drafting correspondence, generating reports, organizing files, and providing general office support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Composes correspondence, prepares reports, and manages documentation; organizes files, maintains tracking systems, photocopies, and handles fax communications. Offers backup telephone support as needed. Manages invoicing and billing processes; keeps accurate records. Maintains attendance logs, resource libraries, and manuals. Takes minutes during meetings. Coordinates travel arrangements. Oversees supply inventory; orders supplies as necessary.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other assigned tasks. Contributes to the organization's quality initiatives.QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience
At least one (1) year of experience in general office administrative functions or a comparable combination of education and experience is required. Experience within the insurance sector, brokerage, or consultancy is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively. Proficient in PC applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite. Possesses analytical and interpretive abilities. Excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Capable of collaborating effectively within a team. Ability to meet or exceed established performance standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT
