Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for approximately 600 employees across four companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage payroll inputs, including changes, garnishments, and proper retention of backup data.
  • Proof payroll items for errors in hours, new hires, taxes, manual entries, direct deposit, and other areas.
  • Process manual check requests and year-end duties, including final payrolls and tax-related notices.
  • Update accounting spreadsheets on benefits and compensation.
  • Generate weekly and monthly payroll reports for distribution.
  • Continuously update the payroll guide and work closely with HR staff and division leaders to improve payroll processes.
  • Perform other payroll functions as necessary, including prevailing wage, terminations, pay changes, and multi-state compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 2 years of payroll entry experience with ADP payroll system.
  • 2 years of general Human Resource knowledge.
  • Experience processing payroll for employees in other states.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and teamwork-driven.
  • Ambitious and excellent communication skills.
  • Professional manner and trustworthy.
Preferred Experience:
  • HR certifications: PHR, SPHR.
Compensation:

$60,000 - $72,000 per year.
