Job Summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of payroll experience and proficiency in Oracle Fusion HCM or similar systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processing cycles, including processing payroll and taxes for multi-state locations.
  • Execute and maintain payroll checklists to ensure key tasks are completed and process documentation is updated.
  • Provide insights on opportunities to improve payroll processes and results during post-payroll review meetings.
  • Support and assist in resolution of payroll inquiries and research requests.
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and year-end activities, including reconciliations and W2 distributions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of payroll and related work experience.
  • Degree (equal level of experience) and Payroll Certification preferred.
  • Recent Oracle Fusion HCM experience or experience with mid-2000 ADP platforms and/or PeopleSoft.
  • Working knowledge of garnishment processing requirements, regulations, and reporting.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to foster relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
