Position Overview:
As an Event Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership abilities in a fast-paced, upscale environment. We are in search of a driven and detail-oriented individual to oversee and coordinate banquet events, ensuring flawless execution and remarkable guest experiences. The Event Operations Manager will be responsible for recruiting and training all event staff, including managing schedules and conducting monthly meetings, while demonstrating proper techniques and etiquette for various service styles. You will supervise the setup of functions, ensuring the correct placement of linens, silverware, china, and glassware according to event specifications. Additionally, you will visually inspect function rooms and equipment for cleanliness, proper inventory, and setup.

Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with culinary, sales, and operations departments to guarantee a successful event from inception to completion. Your role will be pivotal in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated supervisory or management experience
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in banquet management
  • Prior experience in hotel food and beverage operations is advantageous
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong business communication abilities
