WFMT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of WFMT content to various media outlets.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure sales opportunities with radio, TV, digital, and print media outlets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans and proposals to meet revenue targets.
- Enter client activity into our CRM system and work closely with the continuity manager and traffic department to fulfill media contracts.
- Represent WFMT with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and other cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals.
- 5 years of experience in media sales or a related field.
- CRM experience, preferably with Tessitura.
- Proven track record of sales success and ability to meet revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in non-profit sales or business development.
- Knowledge of the classical music industry.
