Job Summary

WFMT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of WFMT content to various media outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure sales opportunities with radio, TV, digital, and print media outlets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and advertising agencies.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and proposals to meet revenue targets.
  • Enter client activity into our CRM system and work closely with the continuity manager and traffic department to fulfill media contracts.
  • Represent WFMT with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and other cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in media sales or a related field.
  • CRM experience, preferably with Tessitura.
  • Proven track record of sales success and ability to meet revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in non-profit sales or business development.
  • Knowledge of the classical music industry.
