Job Title: Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Rytech of New Orleans. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience at our gym.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enthusiastically greet each member and guest, creating a friendly and positive atmosphere at the gym.
  • Provide security and control to the front door and retail area, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our members and guests.
  • Check members into the gym using proper procedures, monitoring check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and notify management as needed.
  • Register guests into the gym, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate fitness consultant in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, addressing caller's requests and taking messages as needed.
  • Process retail and concession sales, maintaining a neat and organized front desk area.
  • Responsible for following up on telephone inquiries to ensure appointments are booked properly.
  • Respond to member requests, inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire with nametag while on duty.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods of time.
