Account Manager II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager II to join our team at National Financial Partners. As an Account Manager II, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional service, and ensuring their utmost satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Work with senior team members to prepare and send requests for proposals to applicable insurance carriers and spreadsheets results as they come in.
- Learn and review contracts, benefit plan summaries, and carrier source documents for accuracy under the direction of the Account Executive or Advisor.
- Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures.
- Take the lead on answering questions from clients and/or insurance company personnel.
- Develop ongoing relationships with clients and coordinate with senior team members.
- Develop relationships with carrier representatives to better understand available products and services in the marketplace.
- Learn vendor/carrier products and services from senior team members.
- Review and analyze requests for proposals and insurance plan analyses.
- Participate in negotiations with carriers and recommend renewal actions.
- Assist with creating and updating benefits-related guides and education resources for clients.
- Learn how to conduct annual client compliance audits using NFP portal.
- Attend to client requests and file form 5500 filings.
- Participate in client projects and create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for client review.
- Associates degree (or equivalent), and BA/BS preferred.
- More than 3 years' client service and/or industry and product line experience.
