About the Role:

As a Cost Accountant II at Curaleaf, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, applying your expertise in cost analysis and month-end close activities.

You will collaborate with teams like Cultivation and Manufacturing to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency, directly impacting profitability and business success.

Your impact will help shape our financial success and optimize key business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cost analysis, oversee month-end closing, and lead variance analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure precise costing and accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making
  • Manage inventory controls, conduct counts, and lead reconciliation
  • Oversee inter-company inventory transactions and streamline reporting processes
  • Support ERP implementation and lead inventory audits

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in cost accounting
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Cost accounting experience in manufacturing and a strong understanding of costing methods
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage and analyze large data sets
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced, start-up environments
  • Prepared for 30% travel for inventory audits, team meetings, and ERP implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or CMA certification
  • Experience with ERP implementation and in environments with multiple operating units

Compensation:

$84,000 USD per year
