Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver School Services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve school publications and documents.
  • Manage the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements, and contribute to financial decision-making.
  • Prepare funding submissions for the leadership team and school council.
  • Oversee the accounting processes of the school, ensuring compliance with Treasury regulations.
  • Provide guidance on budget management to staff.
  • Administer government grants and other school income.
  • Coordinate fundraising activities.
Finance
  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve school goals.
  • Manage the school's financial resources, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide financial advice to staff and stakeholders.
General Administration
  • Provide administrative support to the Principal and teaching staff.
  • Manage the processing of student admissions, registrations, and transfers.
  • Coordinate school events and functions.
  • Implement induction programs for new staff and volunteers.
Human Resources
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support staff development and well-being.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Manage School Resources
  • Coordinate the use and maintenance of school buildings and equipment.
  • Manage the development and collection of resource materials.
Support School Council
  • Provide administrative support to the school council.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve school operations.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Working Arrangements

The Business Manager will work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the school.
