Front Desk Operations Manager

At Hilton Garden Inn M Street DC, we are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for supervising front desk operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front desk operations and ensure that all guests receive exceptional service
  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates to ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns by conducting thorough research and determining the most effective solutions
  • Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
  • Promote Hersha Hospitality and brand-specific marketing programs
  • Greet guests immediately upon arrival and register them in a timely and efficient manner
  • Compute bills, collect payments, handle cash, and make change for guests
  • Closing out guest accounts at time of check out and ensuring that all accounts are accurate and up-to-date

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
