At Hilton Garden Inn M Street DC, we are seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for supervising front desk operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise front desk operations and ensure that all guests receive exceptional service
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates to ensure they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns by conducting thorough research and determining the most effective solutions
- Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager
- Perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
- Promote Hersha Hospitality and brand-specific marketing programs
- Greet guests immediately upon arrival and register them in a timely and efficient manner
- Compute bills, collect payments, handle cash, and make change for guests
- Closing out guest accounts at time of check out and ensuring that all accounts are accurate and up-to-date
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
