About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for increasing our market share within key national and regional grocery chains, C-stores, and foodservice providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Maintain and prospect food packaging accounts throughout the western region, actively seeking opportunities to meet face-to-face with corporate management of strategic target accounts.
  • Contract Management: Manage national pricing contracts that support national account efforts and ensure compliance with pricing and rebates.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with national accounts, including managing national account rollouts and supporting sales consultants in the field.
  • Market Analysis: Provide input to senior management regarding key indicators and trends of the foodservice business relating to the use of polyethylene products.
  • Trade Show Representation: Coordinate our involvement with foodservice national trade shows and determine needed representation.
  • Special Projects: Actively manage and be involved with special/custom/private label projects that require attention.
  • Marketing Support: Manage and direct all marketing activities regarding national accounts through the marketing director for creative, production, and implementation assistance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience selling into regional and national grocery retailers and convenience chains businesses.
  • Sales Performance: Proven sales performance analysis experience and ability to lead strategic planning for accounts.
  • Travel: Travel 40-60% in the west region depending on needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the foodservice industry and ability to cultivate strong relationships with retailers and brokers.

  • Compensation: $115-140,000+ base salary range (depending on candidate experience) and quarterly bonuses up to 40% threshold.
