About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Ovivo USA LLC. As a key member of our PFAS Solutions team, you will be responsible for driving sales initiatives and marketing efforts in the industrial water market.

Your primary focus will be on the USA market, leveraging your expertise and market knowledge to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to meet and exceed sales objectives, foster collaboration, and drive direct sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead sales initiatives in the PFAS and industrial water market segment
  • Foster collaboration with a cross-functional team to meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Drive direct sales efforts targeting end users, leveraging industry insights and customer relationships
  • Manage the end-to-end commercial process, from opportunity engagement and assessment to internal/external technical stakeholder management, value proposition, and close
  • Serve as a representative of the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new leads to expand the sales pipeline and capitalize on emerging market trends
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to enhance the visibility and recognition of the Ovivo brand in the marketplace
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, stakeholders, and end users to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth
  • Contribute to the development of annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts, providing strategic insights and market intelligence
  • Take the lead in the tendering process, including proposal writing and development of high-level budgets, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities
  • Provide support in terms and conditions (T&C) negotiations for final contracts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of directly applicable sales experience in the water/wastewater market
  • Strong technical understanding of PFAS and available solutions in the marketplace
  • Experience in industrial water/wastewater with direct interface with end-user customers required
  • Preferred experience in the leachate treatment market
