Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the dietary/kitchen team, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless meal production.
  • Assist in controlling food costs and maintaining inventory levels to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all food items and supplies in storage, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement policies and procedures for meal production, preparation, and coordination.
  • Manage the meal service, including receiving, rotating, and inventorying products, ensuring regulatory compliance and correct portioning and plate presentation.
  • Record and maintain accurate Food Safety Equipment Records and Food Safety Temperature Records.
  • Perform and assist in the rotation of inventory and security of food and supplies in the correct storage area.
Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Sous Chef, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current Food Services Sanitation certificate required.
  • Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
