Position Overview:
The Senior Admissions Advisor plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the entire admissions journey, from the initial inquiry to enrollment. Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, this position is essential in fostering a supportive and informative environment for candidates. We prioritize personalized engagement, ensuring that we understand each candidate's unique aspirations and career objectives to facilitate their enrollment in our diverse programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, utilizing a student-centered approach to navigate them through the admissions process.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of our programs to provide tailored communication through various channels, including video, phone, email, and text.
- Engage actively with candidates, focusing on their individual needs and ensuring the right fit for both the student and the institution.
- Uphold our commitment to compliance by adhering to all regulatory and procedural guidelines.
- Contribute to our mission of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the admissions process.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and effectively connect with prospective students from various backgrounds.
- Collaborate with departments such as Financial Aid, Student Services, and Career Services to assist candidates in making informed decisions.
- Participate in recruitment events, open houses, and industry-related activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, recruitment, or a related field with a proven success record.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
- Capability to adapt outlines to personal style while maintaining a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (training will be provided).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in admissions or higher education with a track record of meeting individual and institutional goals.
- A strong passion for education and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
