Job Description

We are seeking a BIM Specialist to support our Maumee, OH corporate CAD Team. The successful candidate will manage and maintain a stable and effective environment for Autodesk and Bentley CAD platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, Open Bridge Modeler, and Civil 3D.
  • Resolve production issues and standardize plan preparation.
  • Monitor trends and implement modeling, design, and 3D applications.
  • Provide production assistance in both CAD platforms and multiple business sectors.
  • Lead MSG CAD Working Groups and provide educational tips for internal distribution.
  • Install and test software on the network, manage version control, and provide CADHelp response and monitoring.
  • Develop training programs and coordinate inter-platform activities.
  • Plan capital expenses and network planning for future CAD technologies.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field is required.
  • Five or more years of experience in Civil Engineering CAD drafting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bentley CAD is essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
