Conduct final inspections of all products to ensure compliance with established specifications prior to shipment, utilizing gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, and visual inspections.

Generate data collection spreadsheets.

Verify final inspection documentation for shipments.

Collaborate with department management, production teams, and fellow inspectors as necessary. Maintain daily communication with supervisors and operators regarding potential defects.

Evaluate incoming and outgoing materials.


Return defective products to production for rectification before permitting shipment or use in production.

Assist in packing products into shipping containers as required.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.

Contribute to team objectives by achieving quality and timely results.

Work alongside the Quality Supervisor and production team to enhance processes and elevate quality standards.

Physical Requirements:


The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to communicate verbally and audibly. This role is highly active and necessitates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The employee may need to lift and/or move items exceeding 50 pounds.

Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours:


This is a full-time hourly position, with work hours and days determined by production needs and your reporting manager.


Typical hours for this position:
Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with potential overtime opportunities.

Travel:
No travel is required for this position.

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum of a high school diploma.

At least 6 months of experience in detail-oriented work.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience in manufacturing or industry.

Background in quality inspection.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
