We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic/Electrical Assembler to join our team at KITCO Fiber Optics, a leading provider of fiber optic termination products and consulting services to the military and commercial communications industry.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble various fiber optic and electrical components into finished goods, adhering to strict quality standards and customer specifications.
- Operate production tools and equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Read and understand technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and production.
- Maintain accurate records of production and report any inconsistencies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Train and oversee junior Assembler personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, demonstrating physical stamina and dexterity.
- Some experience required, with an Associate's degree preferred.
- Helpful certifications include MIL-STD-2042C and IPC-A-620 (training provided for those without certification).
