Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team at Highline Physical Therapy. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone, utilizing strong communication skills to address patient concerns.
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and staff.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience, providing timely and effective communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer and paperwork.
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard and perform tasks requiring dexterity.
  • Clear vision for reading and analyzing documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Occasional movement within the office environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
