Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Director to join our team at Supplemental Health Care Corporate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a sales territory to increase top-line revenue and bottom-line results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to grow revenue aligned with the company's financial and strategic goals
  • Provide client solutions by selling all lines of business, including local contract, travel, contract-to-hire, MSP, and other SHC business offerings in the nursing and allied market segments
  • Collaborate with divisions across all of SHC's divisions
  • Ensure contracted bill rates enable SHC to meet financial goals, including re-negotiating bill rates/terms upon existing contract renewals and/or as the market changes require
  • Prospect and qualify new sales leads and opportunities within your territory
  • Maintain a well-developed sales pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Meet and/or exceed annual quotas
  • Track all sales activities in the HubSpot CRM and keep current by updating regularly
  • Perform Partnership Performance Reviews with strategic clients
  • Drive MSP conversations to meet regional MSP goals
  • Serve as the escalation point for any billing issues
  • Lead RFPs for prospective strategic clients
  • Perform sales activities, including cold calling, phone sales, emailing campaigns, the use of social media, RFPs, corporate-sponsored events, trade shows, and client lunches/dinners as well as special engagements
  • Make presentations to appropriate associations/organizations to increase awareness of SHC capabilities
  • Address client concerns and problems effectively and with a sense of urgency
  • Develop/expand existing clients' needs and make formal presentations to potential clients
  • Communicate with clients as well as field and office talent in a professional manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport
  • Maintain a problem-solving attitude under stressful circumstances
  • Function in the capacity of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any and all process-related queries with regards to Business Development activities
  • Provide support to the internal sales team in your region during the acquisition and development of targeted clients or prospects
  • Ensure contract compliance and distribution
  • Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years outside business-to-business sales experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred
  • Home Health/Hospice Healthcare staffing or MSP experience required
  • Demonstrate excellent negotiating skills
  • Demonstrate experience in selling strategic sales solutions
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in recruiting, staffing, production methods, human resources, and/or similar or relevant work experience
  • Communicate effectively in writing and orally
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for selling recruiting services; this includes marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales management systems
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members
  • Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be willing to travel via car or airplane to cover territory if necessary; travel could be up to 60% within assigned territory, with occasional travel outside assigned territory
  • Must have a working knowledge of computers and software systems, including Microsoft Office and sales CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Retain flexible schedules in order to service clients' requests and/or handle complaints
  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and use of the phone and computer
  • Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required

Salary Range: Base salary $85k and total comp of $150k+
