About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Qualifications and Audits: Conduct thorough qualifications and audits of suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Action Plans and Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement action plans to improve supplier performance and monitor their progress.
  • Root Cause Investigations: Collaborate with suppliers to investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.
  • Quality Process Improvement: Provide technical resources to maintain and improve quality processes and products for all suppliers.
  • Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Customer Support: Work closely with Quality Engineers to provide direct customer support, including quotation and contract reviews, customer complaints, and product failure analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience working with suppliers, preferably in a quality assurance or engineering role.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive results.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, SPC, Design of Experiments, and Gage Design.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Proven analytical and organizational ability, with effective problem identification and solution skills.
