The Hangout is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Gulf Shores, AL.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of daily and monthly debits and credits in our general ledger. Additionally, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliations and other accounting tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Reconciliation: Review and balance GL accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Other Accounting Tasks: Perform bank reconciliations, income audits, sales tax calculations, intercompany transactions, and GL reconciliations between multiple companies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Restaurant 365 experience, ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment, and strong attention to detail.
