Position Overview

Pacifica Continental is seeking a Director of Investor Relations to enhance our strategic outreach to investors. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships and ensuring transparent communication with our investor community.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner in expanding investor engagement and outreach initiatives.
  • Utilize financial expertise to support business growth and enhance valuation strategies.
  • Lead a dedicated team to derive actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Manage tools and processes that facilitate organizational development, leveraging extensive experience in large-scale company management.

Core Duties
  • Collaborate with executive management to develop content for investor conferences.
  • Evaluate vendor research models and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Establish and execute the communication strategy for investor relations, including organizing calls and meetings.
  • Prepare the management team for quarterly earnings announcements, including script development and live Q&A sessions.
  • Oversee vendor estimates and consensus expectations, providing updates to the executive team as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, SEC filings, and proxy statements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the investor community, maintaining robust stock market relationships.
  • Coordinate conferences, earnings calls, and investor meetings to enhance engagement.
  • Deliver insights from the investor community regarding management performance and financial results.
  • Act as the main point of contact for disseminating company information to investors.
  • Prepare updates on shareholder matters for the executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Manage media presence and provide timely updates to management.
  • Analyze shareholder objectives and implement strategies to attract investment.
  • Conduct sector benchmarking assessments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee client communications, including requests for information and capital distribution notices.
  • Perform competitor analysis and develop sector performance benchmarks.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA/CFA preferred, MBA strongly desired.
  • Experience: Over 20 years in the industry with at least 10 years in Investor Relations.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen with the ability to model current and future business scenarios.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP S4 Hana, BI Tools, and SQL is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Must demonstrate expertise in financial accounting, modeling, and analysis.
  • Leadership: Strong executive presence with a proven ability to drive change and execution.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience in building an IR/PR function in a high-growth environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of public company SEC reporting requirements.
  • Scientific Communication: Ability to articulate complex scientific data to external stakeholders.
  • Work Environment: On-site position.
