Job Opportunity

We are seeking a high-energy sales professional to join our team as a Raw Materials Sales Specialist in the Greater Los Angeles area. This is a home-based sales position with overnight travel expected to be less than 10%.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals to the CASE markets in Southern California.
  • Call on chemists, formulators, and purchasing professionals to grow the business.
  • Prospect, develop new business, and conduct cold calling activities.
  • Manage pricing and account strategies to drive sales growth.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience selling specialty chemicals or commodity chemicals.
  • Knowledge of the CASE markets is preferred.
  • Experience with a distributor, selling coatings additives and/or polymer additives is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field, or Business.

Compensation:

Base salary: $110,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience. Plus, a lucrative monthly commission plan based solely on individual performance. $30,000 per year is a realistic average, but there is no cap, and it can be much higher. Generous car allowance. Excellent benefits.
