Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows servers and workstations, both remotely and on-site.
  • Provide Windows system administrative support, including user management, software installation, and system monitoring.
  • Oversee domain controllers, file servers, application servers, and various cloud resources.
  • Effectively receive and categorize customer incidents in the ticketing system.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures to accurately document all tickets within the ticketing system.
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques.
  • Appropriately escalate unresolved tickets to higher support tiers.
  • Maintain communication with customers throughout the process and follow up to ensure proper incident resolution.
  • Ensure that quality and productivity standards are upheld while meeting customer deadlines.
  • Assist in configuring baseline switches, routers, and PCs for deployment.
  • Coordinate equipment preparation and shipping, confirm customer receipt, and validate inventories.
  • Conduct remote site surveys to identify hardware and cabling requirements.

Additional Duties as Assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a System Analyst/Administrator role or similar.
  • Appropriate DoD 8570 Level II certification.
  • Experience in network and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security, data backup/recovery, and network monitoring.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 10%.
  • Exceptional customer interaction skills with a focus on positive service support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
  • DoD Intermediate Certification required (Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or GSEC) or equivalent military training.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy or ServiceNow.
  • ITIL 4 Foundations certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.
  • Willingness to undergo a random CI polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time. Occasionally move about the office to access file cabinets and office machinery. Frequently communicate with colleagues, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300-$155,200. Factors influencing final salary may include contract wage determination, relevant work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
