Premier Solutions HI, LLC is seeking a dedicated System Administrator / Training and Support Specialist to enhance user experience with the FACET system in the San Diego area. This role is crucial for ensuring that end users can effectively integrate the FACET system into their daily operations and that all documentation is securely backed up in the designated repository.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the System Administrator / Training and Support Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing technical tasks such as developing scripts for software installations, updating installation protocols, testing, and maintaining ghost images, alongside networking responsibilities.
  • Conducting onsite visits to provide regular maintenance and support for the FACET system.
  • Facilitating training sessions and demonstrations of the FACET and FIAR systems to various audience sizes at their preferred locations.
  • Offering support through in-person interactions, email, or phone communication.
  • Updating the support database consistently.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is signed off during onsite visits.
  • Exhibiting self-management skills to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Delivering impromptu demonstrations or briefings of the FACET system.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor in both physical and telephonic interactions to reflect the values of Premier Solutions.
  • Being available on weekdays to respond to client support inquiries.
  • Communicating effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT networking, with a preference for candidates with training and customer service experience in the IT sector.

Certifications:

  • Preferred certifications include Server+, Network+, MCITP, MCSA, or CCNA.

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:

  • Proficient technical skills in Windows, OS, Server, and Networking.
  • A valid driver's license and U.S. Passport are required.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for 1-2 weeks as necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience in training and customer service within the IT field.
  • Ability to deliver professional presentations to executive-level audiences.
  • A strong background in customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to learn quickly and take initiative confidently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve project objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical capability to lift a 40-pound box.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Navy S1, S2, S6, or S8 (CS / LS) is advantageous, particularly in the Logistics sector.
  • Familiarity with ATO and RMF processes is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently or lead a team with minimal oversight.
