Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Representative to join our team at OrthoConnecticut. As a Patient Care Representative, you will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, collecting and verifying patient information, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of patient registration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and register patients in a prompt and professional manner
  • Collect and verify patient information, including demographic and insurance data
  • Accurately enter data into our electronic medical records system
  • Assist patients in completing required medical history forms
  • Collect co-pays and unpaid balances, generate receipts, and batch payments
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent required; post-graduate degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and insurance verification preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
