Position Overview

St. Monica's Home is dedicated to empowering women on their journey to transformative recovery through effective treatment and essential support services. We are currently in search of a compassionate and committed Substance Abuse Counselor to enhance our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that address individual challenges.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
  • Lead educational workshops to inform clients about substance abuse.
  • Maintain meticulous records to track client progress and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent certification is required, with preference for candidates holding an associate degree in LADC. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Additionally, First Aid/CPR certification is mandatory.
