This role is responsible for providing technical support to internal and external customers regarding the fundamental mechanical, electronic, and operational aspects of Multivac products.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to customers by diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electronic, and application issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop product knowledge and troubleshooting techniques.
- Assist with developing and maintaining technical documentation and a product knowledge base.
- Identify and assist with the resolution of quality-related issues.
- Travel to participate in training, machine acceptance testing, and complex field service matters.
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline and two years of related experience in field service or manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and operational aspects of machines.
- Solid understanding of induction and servo motors, drives, and controllers.
- Basic knowledge of low-voltage switches, sensors, and transducers.
The work environment is moderate, with frequent exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
