Position Overview: The Senior Fiscal Consultant plays a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing expert guidance on fiscal matters.

Key Responsibilities

The essential duties include:

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of financial transactions and records to ensure precision and compliance with established budgets and regulations.
  • Data Reconciliation: Analyze and consolidate financial data from various sources, ensuring accurate trial balances and maintaining a comprehensive audit trail.
  • Transaction Review: Scrutinize financial transactions for accuracy, suggesting necessary adjustments and improvements.
  • Internal Controls: Uphold and implement internal controls while adhering to recognized accounting principles and standards.
  • Advisory Role: Offer expert advice and technical support on fiscal responsibilities and functions.
  • Reporting: Compile and prepare diverse financial statements and reports that reflect the organization’s financial health, aiding in budget and personnel planning.
  • Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and data to auditors, ensuring transparency and compliance during audits.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and support.
  • Cultural Competence: Engage and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals across various backgrounds.
  • Procurement Responsibilities: May oversee purchasing and inventory management of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications

To qualify for the Senior Fiscal Consultant position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
