As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing commercial loan accounts, maximizing profitability and minimizing risk to the bank. You will contribute to the growth and profitability of the bank through commercial relationships.

Responsibilities:

* Work with branch managers to determine business plans to reach area sales goals and overall system targets.
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential commercial customers.
* Service existing commercial loan accounts and expand existing relationships through cross-sells and referrals.
* Assist in the implementation of new products or programs to provide better service to customers and stimulate new growth.
* Supervise and train staff in developing a complete knowledge of our products and services with an emphasis on commercial products.
* Negotiate credit terms, including costs, loan repayment methods, and collateral specifications.
* Monitor credit quality of personal loan portfolio and perform analysis of credit reports, business and personal tax returns, financial statements, cash flows, and pricing analysis.
* Develop referral sources for additional business.
* Proactively notify customers of upcoming loan maturities, renewals, and other loan events.
* Serve on various committees as assigned by management.
* Interview loan applicants, analyze financial information, and make loan decisions.
* Maintain a loan portfolio in a manner consistent with sound banking practices, while maintaining profitability.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a concentration in accounting/finance preferred.
* Two to three years of commercial and consumer lending experience.
* Proven knowledge of loan policies and procedures.
* Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and procedures, and meet established goals.
* Strong personal leadership skills, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to analyze and summarize complex financial information, make presentations, and communicate its contents.
* Ability to travel to various locations to meet with customers and bank personnel.
