Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

About the Job

This HR Generalist position is located in Houston, TX, and is responsible for providing administrative support to human resources functions as needed. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in employee relations, payroll processing, recruiting, and other HR generalist areas.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will also possess problem-solving, interpersonal, adaptability, planning/organizing skills, and be well-versed in federal and state employment laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partners with the HR team to develop people strategies and execute HR initiatives and programs.
  • Maintains visibility with all employees by being available to address any issues and concerns expressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serves as a resource for the site leadership team and advises site leadership on all Human Resource related topics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training and Development or equivalent.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience (employee relations, payroll processing, recruiting, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving, interpersonal, adaptability, planning/organizing skills.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
