Job Description:

The Human Resource Generalist will assist with day-to-day human resources support in the areas of talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, employee recognition, employee relations, termination and exit, employment documentation, policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of labor/employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, SCA, FMLA, PDA, FLSA, EPA, LMRA, and other Federal, State, and Local legislation/regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for managers and employees on all HR matters
  • Assist with talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, employee recognition, employee relations, termination and exit, employment documentation, policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations
  • Apply in-depth understanding and provide guidance on the application of various labor/employment laws
  • Work with managers on performance management and employee relations matters
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology
  • Three or more years of HR experience in two or more functional areas; generalist experience which includes general business operations, recruitment, and benefits strongly preferred
  • SPHR/PHR Certification
  • Experience in Aerospace and/or Engineering Industry
  • Ability to search Internet for policies, procedures, candidate sourcing, case rulings, and employment law
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong MS Office skills, Smartsheet skills
  • Strong PeopleSoft experience with emphasis on running reports and searching for data
