Role Summary: The Ski Area Guest Liaison plays a crucial role in enhancing the visitor experience at Catamount Ski Resort LLC. This position involves engaging with guests throughout the ski area to ensure their needs are met and satisfaction is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm welcome and assist guests with inquiries, ensuring a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Remain stationed at designated locations until your shift concludes or a replacement arrives.
  • Disseminate important information such as trail conditions and snow reports to guests and staff.
  • Support guests during races, promotional activities, and special events as required.
  • Help maintain a tidy and inviting lodge and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with parking logistics and the loading/unloading of group transportation.

Qualifications:

  • Exhibit flexibility and a positive attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate clear writing skills and effective communication for documentation purposes.
  • Be open to learning and adapting to new situations and challenges.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of resort offerings, including pricing, events, and services.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in winter conditions.

Work Environment:

As a Ski Area Guest Liaison, you will be expected to proactively address guest concerns and provide solutions. The phrase 'I don't know' is not acceptable; instead, utilize the approach of finding the necessary information for guests.

Our focus is on delivering exceptional experiences for our visitors. Peak times typically occur during weekends and holidays, and your availability during these periods is essential.

Uniform Guidelines:

  • Name tags must be worn at all times.
  • Maintain a neat and approachable appearance.
  • Uniforms suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings will be provided and must be worn during scheduled shifts.
