Job Overview

At Catamount Ski Resort LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Ski & Snowboard Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our ski school, you will be responsible for providing exceptional instruction to guests of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality ski and snowboard lessons to groups and individuals, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of lesson plans, taking into account the needs and abilities of each student.
  • Work collaboratively with other instructors and resort staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and improve your teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting a love of skiing and snowboarding among our guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., education, recreation, or sports management) preferred.
  • Intermediate or above skier/snowboarder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional guest service and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Previous experience in teaching or coaching, preferably in a ski or snowboard setting.
  • PSIA/AASI/USSA certification or equivalent preferred.
