About the Organization
We are a long-established nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing fundamental needs within the community by providing essential resources such as food, clothing, and shelter to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate donors, funding agencies, and government partners to invest in our mission of facilitating positive and sustainable life changes for those in need.
  • Foster a culture of strategic compassion focused on delivering housing, food assistance, and case management services to the most vulnerable populations.
  • Oversee an annual budget exceeding $2 million, ensuring meticulous financial management and operational oversight.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of over 20 staff members and a large volunteer network, promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Build partnerships with elected officials, community leaders, and various service organizations to support our mission.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish strategic goals, priorities, and funding strategies aimed at alleviating homelessness and hunger.
  • Enhance the organization’s legacy of service and position it for continued success in the future.

Qualifications

  • Deep commitment to the organization’s mission and values, demonstrating compassion and empathy for those served.
  • Proven leadership experience in nonprofit or corporate settings.
  • Strong administrative skills with extensive experience in budget management.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Successful track record in fundraising, including grant writing and building relationships with donors and funding organizations.
  • Experience working with individuals facing homelessness, food insecurity, or trauma is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of human resource practices, including hiring and team development.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.
